Excursions in St Kitts, booked with local operators
Island tours, catamarans, diving, ATV, hikes, beach days and transfers. You send a request, we confirm the slot with the operator, then you pay. Nothing is charged for a slot that turns out not to exist.
8am to 5pm
The usual port window in Basseterre, which is why almost everything here runs three to five hours.
25 excursions
One page each, with the real price, the real duration and what is not included.
Nothing upfront
We confirm the slot with the operator before you are asked for a penny.
The excursions people book most
Every one has its own page with the price, the duration, what is included and who should not book it. The full list of twenty-four is on the excursions page.
How booking works
1. You send a request
Date, how many adults and children, where to collect you, and your ship name if you are on one.
2. We confirm the slot
With the operator, within one working day and usually the same day.
3. We send a payment link
Carrying the excursion, the date, the price and what is included, in writing.
4. You pay and it is booked
You get the pickup time, the meeting point and a number that a person answers on the day.
What a taxi costs, for comparison
There are no meters in St Kitts. A taxi fare buys the whole car one way for one to four people, so four people travelling together pay one fare rather than four. From five people up it is a per-person rate. The ride back is a second fare, which is the thing most visitors get wrong.
A taxi round the full island, four to four and a half hours, is US$100 or EC$270 for one to four people. The whole schedule for the port and the airport is on the transfers page, and we print it because you should be able to check what you are paying for.
Before you swim
The beaches here are not supervised. There are no lifeguards and no warning flags, and Canada’s government travel advice says rescue services may not be consistent with international standards. Swim where other people are swimming, keep children within reach, and ask the bar staff about the current that day. On every snorkel trip we sell, the crew are in the water with the group.
Tell us what you want to see
If it is not on the site, ask. Most of what we sell started as somebody’s request.
